Privacy policy

This page explains what TrulyShot collects when you join the waitlist, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. In short: we only use your details to tell you about the launch and to learn what people want, and we never sell them.

Who we are

TrulyShot is run by Roy Barzilay and is registered in Israel as [company name, registration number, address]. For anything about your data, write to roy@trulyshot.com.

What we collect

  • Your email address and country, and whether you joined as a buyer, a photographer or both.
  • Optional answers you choose to give: what you’d hang, which print you’d choose, what you’d expect to pay and whether you’re open to a chat (buyers); what you shoot and whether you can shoot RAW (photographers).
  • How you found us: the campaign tags in the link you used (for example “youtube”) and the website that sent you, if any.
  • When you agreed to receive emails, and the exact wording you agreed to.

We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

  • To email you about TrulyShot’s launch. This is based on your consent.
  • If you said yes to a chat, to email you once to find a time. You don’t have to reply.
  • To understand demand: which photos and prints people want, what they’d pay, and where we should start selling.
  • To keep bots and spam out of the waitlist (our legitimate interest).

Who helps us run it

These services process data on our behalf, only to provide their service to us:

  • Supabase: stores the waitlist database ([region, e.g. EU, Frankfurt]).
  • Resend: sends our emails.
  • Vercel: hosts the website.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: checks that signups come from people, not bots.
  • Plausible Analytics: privacy-friendly visit statistics, with no cookies and no personal profiles.

We never sell your data, and we don’t share it with advertisers.

Data outside your country

Some of these services are based in the United States. [Describe the safeguards, e.g. the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.] Israel is recognised by the European Commission as giving adequate protection to personal data.

How long we keep it

[Until TrulyShot launches and up to N months after, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Signups that are never confirmed are deleted after N days.]

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Reply to any email from us, or write to roy@trulyshot.com. If you’re in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority; in Israel, to the Privacy Protection Authority.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If the change matters to you, we’ll tell you by email first.
