Why I’m building this
Hi, I’m Roy.
I’m an amateur photographer from the Middle East.
A few years ago I quit photography. It felt impossible to compete with people who had better gear, lived in more beautiful places and already had an audience. There was no way to be judged by my photos alone.
I came back, because photography is what I really want to do. But photographers without an audience still have almost no way to sell their work, and AI is making many people feel real photography isn’t worth the effort.
So I’m building TrulyShot: real photos, judged on the photo alone, each with the story of how it was taken.
My plan for the money: half the profit on every print goes to the photographer. The other half pays for checking every photo by hand, the website, and finding buyers.
I also make videos about nature and wildlife photography.
If you have a question, write to me. I read every message.
